Description

The PAMAS SVSS Liquid Particle Counting System is a laboratory counter for pharmaceutical applications (control of parenteral fluids, infusion solutions, ophthalmic & oral fluids) and other liquids of low viscosity. The instrument may be used either as a stand-alone, or software controlled. Its menu-driven navigation system is very straightforward for users, enabling their swift training.

A stepper motor-actuated precision syringe moves the sample through the laser diode sensor at the optimum flow rate in order to achieve an accurate sample volume. Using interchangeable syringes, the PAMAS SVSS can analyse sampling volumes, of different sizes, from 1 µl to 2,000 ml. For small volumes, a special ‘Small Volume Kit’ is available.

Software:

PAMAS USP Pharmaceutical Procedural Software: 21 CFR part 11 compliant software. Used for the data analysis of parenterals, infusion solutions, ophtalmic & oral fluids according to pharmaceutical standards like USP, EP, BP and JP. The measuring report includes all sample parameters and the numerical and graphical presentation as well as the assessment of the measuring results according to the selected pharmaceutical standard.

PAMAS PMA (Particle Measuring and Analysis) Software: For the operation of particle counters and for the analysis of measurement results. The measuring report includes all sample parameters and the numerical and graphical presentation of the measuring results. The report is compliant with the cleanliness standards ISO 4406, SAE AS 4059, NAS 1638, GOST 17216, GJB 420 and NAVAIR 01-1A-17.

The results are automatically stored and may be exported to Microsoft Excel for further evaluation.

Specifications:

Different application types may require different sensors; a range of choices is available for the SVSS (please see brochure). The standard sensor PAMAS HCB-LD-25/25 is equipped with a flowrate of 10 ml/min and a size range of 1 to 200 µm.
