PAMAS S50P Fuel for Contamination control and Condition Monitoring of Liquid Fuel
The PAMAS S50P Fuel online particle counter is a cost effective fixed installed measuring instrument for the condition monitoring and contamination analysis of liquid fuel. Its design allows for flexible integration into monitoring facilities for liquid fuel. As well as providing the triple code according to ISO 4406 (size classes > 4 µm(c),> 6 µm(c) and > 14 µm(c)), PAMAS S50P Fuel measures the particle number and size distribution of all 8 size channels and the results are reported in real time to PC or PLC (programmable logic controller). This allows alerts to be triggered in case of failures caused by bigger particle sizes (e.g. caused by corrosion), in order to prevent the transfer to tank and the subsequent use of contaminated liquid fuel. The volumetric cell design of PAMAS sensor in the S50P Fuel means that 100% of the sample flow is measured, guaranteeing the highest accuracy and reproducibility.
An important option increasing the value of the PAMAS S50P Fuel as a condition monitoring instrument is the ability to have four analogue inputs on board for four extra 4-20 mA signals to be sent to a PC. This means that the S50P Fuel serves as a powerful condition monitoring interface and additional data coming from external sensors - e.g. water content, oil temperature, viscosity, vibration or pressure is sent together with the particle count measurements.
