The PAMAS S4031 is a compact particle counting system for raw water, waste water and potable water, for organic and corrosive liquids, for filter test rigs and for component cleanliness control. With 32 free adjustable size channels the system has the flexibility to match the most demanding applications, offering laboratory accuracy and repeatability combined with real portability. The volumetric cell design of PAMAS sensors guarantees the highest accuracy, resolution and best statistical information. Results are reported according to common standards, including NAS 1638, SAE AS 4059 and ISO 4406 as well as ISO 16232-9 and VDA-19 for parts cleaning applications (sensor calibration is performed using latex spheres according to ISO 21501).
The pressurised sensor avoids the formation of gas bubbles in the sample during testing, however, for very aerated fluids the PAMAS SBSS is the suitable choice. Due to its integral pump, the PAMAS S4031 can be used for both batch and online sampling. The required power supply is wide ranging; 90-230 VAC at 50-60 Hz / 12-30 VDC or using the integrated battery for up to three hours operation.
The PAMAS S4031 is very user friendly, with touch screen and graphic display. Individual user profiles may be stored, allowing your own custom testing criteria to be implemented. Functionality of key programs within the easily navigable menu system are password protected for different user levels. Over 4,000 measurement data sets may be stored and easily downloaded to a PC via a USB port, utilising easy-to-use download software. Optional PMA software provides the user with remote control of the counter, enables results to be downloaded, dilution factors to be applied in the case of over-concentrated fluids and for professional report documents to be generated and stored in readable format, including classification of the particle number and size (within your chosen sensor’s size range). Alternatively, PAMAS’s optional ATS software provides the user with trend analysis of particle counts in adjustable sizes within the sensors’ size range, graphical display of particle count over time and also population histogram and particle count of a single, selectable measurement.
The PAMAS S4031 is available as the standard unit or as the S4031 GO (built into a rugged case for harsh environments).
