Services – Calibration and Repairs

OptiCal Sciences has the capability to calibrate, service or repair most makes and models particle counter, aerosol photometer and generator either in our workshops in Northampton (UK) and Carlow (Ireland), or conveniently on-site at your business premises.

Fast Turnaround
All back to base ‘in-house’ calibrations, services and repairs have a rapid turnaround, usually within 5 working days, and priority turnaround can be arranged on request.

OptiCal Sciences fully recognizes the production constraints of modern industry and our on-site service facilitates an absolute minimum of disruption to your manufacturing processes.

Traceability
OptiCal Sciences provide certification traceable to National and International Standards.  

The latex particle standards used are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

We provide A ‘Certificate of Calibration’ with ‘As Found’ data for an historical record of performance.

Reports and certificates issued are acceptable to most quality assurance authorities.

The calibration of test equipment used for the in-house and field service is also traceable to National Standards.

Recalibration Reminder Service - Regular traceable calibration is essential for measuring equipment if accuracy is to be maintained. Remembering re-calibration dates is often a cause of trouble and concern, particularly when more than one instrument is used, as they may all have different re-calibration due dates and frequencies. In order to reduce this burden for the customer we provide a Recalibration Reminder Service whereby our service customers automatically receive a written reminder when any instrument is due for re-calibration.
