Particle Monitoring Software: Multiuser Network - Contact us for pricing

Process visualisation has never been easier. Using intuitive human machine interface software, the server based particle monitoring system displays information gathered from most industry standard field sensors installed in your production environment.

The multiuser network particle monitoring software has been designed for large process monitoring systems requiring concurrent multi-user access to the system at any one time. This system combines the Wonderware InTouch application carrying out the logical processing of the system, with the Wonderware Information Server for web based remote access via Internet Explorer.

The multiuser network particle monitoring software is ideal for monitoring a large number of field devices, depending on the data storage requirements. Data is stored using the Wonderware Industrial SQL Server for a CFR21 part 11 compliant system.

To enable process visualisation, applications are customised to reflect the layout of your process environment. An overview screen is used to display a summary of your facility, with the ability to click on areas for a magnified view of the area using zoom screens. Field sensors are represented graphically in their relative location within your system and tabular values are displayed on zoom screens. Using these easy to navigate graphical screens, operators can quickly identify the process in alarm using the individual alarm icons that change colour to reflect alarm conditions. Points in alarm can be identified and the relevant instrument easily located using the positioning of the alarm point within your facility layout, and operators can promptly follow your corrective action procedures.

To safeguard your data, the system utilises the Windows security model. Operators are required to log onto to the system in order to acknowledge alarms or produce reports and trends. Different security levels are utilised to restrict operator access. When the operator successfully logs in, they gain access to the various aspects of the system based on their security level. When there is a period of inactivity, the operator’s session is timed out.

To enable easy monitoring of alarms within your process system, information is summarised on the control screen to highlight alarms and device communication faults. The control screen is also used to summarize the field sensor data.

The software makes it easy for you to take control of your system, and be accountable for alarms that occur. All points in alarm will flash on the graphical display until it is acknowledged by an operator. All active alarms will be summarised in a table, allowing the operator to select an acknowledge alarms. The operator will need to provide their login credentials and a comment when acknowledging alarms allowing for an audit trail.

Trends can be used to graphically summarise and compare process data for easy analysis. Trends can be pre-saved by the administrator, allowing the operator to quickly access the relevant trends for the process they are monitoring. Alternatively, the operator can select the data points to trend to create a custom view.

Reports can be produced from the software to compliment your process monitoring. Wonderware Information Server utilises the Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services to enable creation and viewing of reports. This industry standard tool makes it easy for you to create your own custom reports, and gives you the option of combining your process data with data from other SQL databases within your organisation. As standard, OptiCal Sciences, will provide Alarm and Particle Count reports with your custom logos and sign off area. We will also offer you the option of requesting any custom reports that you may require for your process monitoring needs.
