Alarm Database Archiving

To conserve space on the server, only the last 6 months of alarm data is kept in the alarm database.  A service to archive alarm data older than 6 months is scheduled at the start of every month on the server.  This is the normal configuration of all applications that are developed for customers.  In the event that customers need to refer back to alarm data older than 6 months the Alarm DB Restore utility by Wonderware on the server can be used to restore the data that has been archived off.  Please refer to Wonderware's documentation on the Alarm DB Restore utility for further details on how to use this utility.
